HomeSpace Evergreen

Calgary Affordable Housing Foundation is honoured to partner with HomeSpace as one of three original projects. HomeSpace, a leading non-market housing organization in Calgary, provides welcoming homes for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The HomeSpace project is focused on providing welcoming transitional housing for families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. It will provide a 45-unit townhome community of two- and three-bedroom homes, which are designed to bridge the gap between homelessness and more permanent housing. The community, located in Evergreen, will include amenity spaces, a community garden, parking, and wrap-around support to help families stabilize, build community, and thrive. 

Capital project cost: $20.9 million  

Fundraising goal: $2.1 million  

Project timeline: Start: 2026 Completion: 2028
